The Hickory Q was once one of the best chicken fried steak places south of Dallas / Ft. Worth. Several years ago it closed and has now been remodeled into a delightful one bedroom, one bath cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. It has a fun little front and side porch that steps down into a secluded courtyard just inviting you to come down and sit awhile.
